Priest Levelling Fast

In this post I will be talking about the best Priest leveling build you should use if you want to level your priest Super Fast. Remenber the goal here is Levelling, not getting epic gear or loot /gold or anything like that. Trust me you will get all this and more when you reach L80 and it will be much more profitable. Here we want to level up our Priests and we want to do it Fast! So with that being said you will find below a priest guide to put you on the right track.

The main thing to keep in mind when leveling your Priest is that you will do this in 2 phases. I know not many people recommend this strategy but after levelling 2 of my priests to L80 I found this is what works best for me. Here it goes:
You would assign your talent points like so from L1 to L49: (7/27/3)

Then when you reach L50 to L80 you need to change and do a re-spec to go full shadow like this:

Ok, this should get you started in regards to priest leveling talent points. now lets look at the priest levelling fighting sequence I like to use more often:
During Phase 1 I would normally do this:
Smite > Mind Blast > Shadow Word: Pain > Power Word: Shield > Devouring Plague
Then when I reach the pre requesite level for phase 2 (L50) I would do this sequence:
Power Word: Shield > Vampiric Touch > Mind Blast > Vampiric Embrace > Shadow Word: Pain > Devouring Plague > Mind Flay
With these 2 techniques it should get you started. However if you feel that you are not leveling your Priest as fast as you would like then look for a professional Priest leveling guide such as the Zygor in-game leveling Guide. I will confess this is my secret weapon and what most L80 players that have a lot of L80 characters use everyday. I promised I was going to lift the curtains on wow and there it is I said it. Now there are other guides out there like the team idemise levelling guide. Actually some of my friends are using it and it is pretty good. However the one I have used for the past months with great success is the Zygor guide, I think they offer a free trial. At least they used too in the past.
Anyway, I promised I was going to reveal everything and many of you have ask me to talk about this guide. The way it works is quite simple really. Just install the guide as an Add On. You will do this by dragging the guide folders onto your WOW interface – Add On folder. When you activate the guide you will see a big arrow under your Priest. This Arrrrow will show you exactly where you need to go and how far you are from the objective. At the same time, the guide has a panel with information on what you need to do. You should not do every quest and you should certainly do the quest in a specific order to maximize your Levelling results. Without this you will waste precious time doing small paying quests or travelling in a multitude of direction for no XP. Finished are the days of Mindless grinding. Now you need to grind as you complete quests. This is the reason I use a Pro Guide.. it is just a No-Brainer.
When you use the guide it will give you information on the screen telling you what you need to do and where, stuff like “Go to (28,68) and kill 8 XXXmob and 7 YYYmob” etc. You simply follow the arrow and you are there. But for me the best is the In-Game talent Adviser. This thing will automatically show you in the game where you need to assign your new talent points for maximum Levelling success.
